Dentistry Show 2014

Dentistry Show Marketing Success
For all our clients and leaderboard sponsors the dentistry show was a big success this year, we managed to run a bar, the leaderboard and Nat lectured on “How to Market Your Dental Business On Twitter” which is you are a bit of a Twitter dentist you would have loved. These lectures went really well and Nick from the dental talk show recorded it for sharing, footage to follow soon.
The power of social media was amazing, people even approached us to say how good our content was and how valuable they found it, truly a humbling experience, when someone says they have been in the dental industry for 50 years and how much they like what you share! Amazing!
We even managed to meet up with the infamous Gary Takacs and listen to his lecture on how to grow your practice with whitening, extremely interesting, especially how you can reduce your hygiene cancellations and some other awesome top secret tips. Running a bar on the Coltene stand was also an interesting experience, we were very fortunate that one of our team had an alcohol license, meaning we weren’t restricted to buying from the catering department, ensuring that the amazing beer and prosecco we served went down well.
The leaderboard was very successful with the players working extremely hard to get as many points as possible. The campaigns were a huge success driving loads of interactions and mentions on Twitter. The mention reach on Saturday alone was in excess of 440,000; impressive really considering the relatively low amount of visitors compared to retail shows.
As people were still tweeting however we decided to keep the leaderboard running today to analyse the data for future posts. So enough from us, thanks to our sponsors, ColteneUK, Dentsply, Dental Lab Aids, Dental Jobs Board. The leaderboard went down a storm and we will be rolling out more boards over the next year or so within other industries. Enabling everyone to have more fun during events and creating a real buzz around the event and more exposure for the brand or brands who sponsor the boards.
It is now the time to be following up with all our clients and building campaigns during the next year. So enough from us, we just wanted to say what a great event it was and thank Closer Still Media for letting us a be a part of it and Leaderboarded for all their support.
