This week has been crazy, loads more exciting things going on. We recorded some great footage with Nick from the dental talk show and our awesome social media and twitter training partner Suzanne from the @trainingpost I even interviewed Nick using my new phone to ask him ""why he started the dental talk show??""
We had lots more productive conversations with potential partners and clients within the buoyant dental industry. Even some initial conversations about doing some cross channel Google hangouts or webinars. Across the pond there are some very interesting specialists who will be sharing their expertise with us shortly.
In addition we had a very informative meeting with one of the founders of Adfrap mobile media, specialists in mobile marketing for over 15 years. We will be recording an interview with them at some stage in the next few months explaining why mobile is the way forward! Not surprising considering that over 50% of searches online are mobile and tablets! 55% of people who search on a mobile device are ready to take action almost immediately. Hence why there is a race to saturate the market with mobile booking software for dentists in the uk.
We also went on some practice visits to discuss potential marketing campaigns including how our video marketing solutions can help with existing seo for dentists campaigns.
The market for dentists is becoming more competitive now. More dentists are embracing modern marketing methods, instead of throwing money at non trackable ""throw it at the wall and see if it sticks" kind of advertising like yellow pages for instance or local newspapers.
One Dentist we spoke to recently was spending £700+Vat a month with his local newspaper. We asked him about how many patients were coming from this? he said ""It definately feels quieter when I have a break from advertising""
In this day and age to have money and to waste it is ridiculous, especially for such well educated people!
But don't worry we are here to help educate you as to what direction to take your marketing in. Bear in mind though that consulting time still costs money.
